The finish I orderd was Burnished Copper, but what I got was black paint. I called the manufacture and they said that is the way it comes. I called company I orderd thrugh and thay offered to return my money. But the fixture was the design I was looking for and the price ok so I kept the fixtures and repainted them to match the finish I wanted.(The picture in the ad shows black finish but below the picture it sais it's burnished copper, go figure.)

Very happy with this small outdoor sconce (Z1842), but there remains considerable confusion about just what is available and what you would get if you ordered it. I ordered "black", but when it arrived, the box identified it as "burnished copper", something I did not want. I called customer service and they were very helpful and willing to have me return it, but I hadn't yet opened the box. When I did in fact open it, I found that the finish of the actual sconce was "black". To add to the confusion, the website at this moment depicts a photo of a "black" sconce, yet the only choice of finish is either "burnished copper" or "stainless steel". Otherwise, it is certainly stylish and well-made, especially considering the modest price.

I bought and installed four of these lights at my elderly mother's house. They look very good and exactly like the picture, but as other's have commented the "burnished copper" color is almost black looking (but we wanted a darker color anyway). Although listed as a "small" size, they look good and we would not want them any bigger for a porch light, side door light, and patio light. It does not have a photocell so it will not turn on/off automatically. It is a nice design and we are pleased with the product.

We bought 3 to replace all the lights on the back of the house. Great style and it gives off a nice, soft glow. We had to buy screws to install it, however. Would have been nice if those were included.
